We are participating in a global project in partnership with the International Coach Federation  (ICF) to offer pro bono coaching to Not-For-Profit organizations. Through the ICF Atlantic Chapter Pro-Bono Project, we believe our coaches can help accelerate your organization’s social impact. We want to collaborate with you!

FAQs

  • ICF defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.

    A coach won’t tell you what to do or give you all the answers. A coach is objective, non-judgmental, and an excellent listener who focuses on helping you uncover the strategies and steps that will work best for you.  

    A coach adheres to the ICF Code of Ethics and Core Values, including maintaining confidentiality and a philosophy of “doing good.”  As a client, you are responsible for the commitment to achieve the agreed-upon action steps and for your success.

  • Working with a coach allows you to:

    • Learn to set and achieve goals

    • Align goals with your organization’s impact metrics

    • Gain new insights and expand possibilities

    • Become more balanced in your life

    • Boost your confidence and self-reliance

    • Achieve more with an accountability partner

    • Four to six coaching sessions with an individual Coach (no more than ten session hours).

    • Coach and participant will determine other mutually agreeable dates and times for coaching.

    • The participant will determine goals for coaching.

    • Commit to the coaching sessions with the Coach

    • Follow up on any fieldwork agreed to during the coaching session

    • Complete a survey when coaching is finished (coachee and organization)

  • All Coaches will be certified through a recognized coaching program and have completed rigorous education and practice requirements, providing testimony to their commitment to excellence in coaching and are members of ICF  Atlantic Chapter.
