ICF Atlantic, Professional Coaching

Welcome to the online home of professional coaching in Atlantic Canada.

The ICF Atlantic is the local chapter of the International Coach Federation (ICF). We have communities of practice throughout Atlantic Canada with a very active Board of Directors meeting monthly throughout the year.

Our parent body, the ICF, is the leading global coaching organization and with more than 23,000 members worldwide is the only independent, globally-recognized accrediting organization for coaches.

The coaches in our chapter continue to raise the bar for professional coaching by providing 1:1 coaching, group coaching, facilitation and workshops through the lenses of leadership coaching, executive coaching, business coaching, HR coaching, life coaching, career coaching, and health coaching to our clients locally and around the world.

Beyond having intense and specific professional coach training, all our members abide by the ICF Code of Ethics and Standards.

We have currently have active communities of practice in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland.

Bette Watson-Borg, Principal of MapleKey Coaching & Leadership Development is a results oriented executive leader who brings to her practice over 30 years of experience within the not-for-profit sector across Canada including human resource, governance, conflict resolution, finance, fund raising, risk management and brand.

Bette is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) with the internationally recognized CTI Coach Training Institute and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), with the International Coaches Federation (ICF). Additionally, Bette is also a certified CINERGY™ Conflict Management Coach.

Bette partners with individuals and groups in thought-provoking and creative processes that inspire them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Bette brings a collegial perspective to executive and senior leaders who are seeking a coach who has “walked in their shoes”. As well, she supports committed emerging and mid-career professionals who are on a trajectory that is making a positive impact in our world.
