Dora Nicinski is skilled in transition management, leadership development and governance, with more than 35 years’ experience in a variety of leadership positions – including CEO – for various healthcare organizations across Canada. Most recently, she was CEO of the Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation and Interim CEO of the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. Over the past four decades, Dora has developed a keen understanding of complex organizations – and the people behind them.
Dora retired from healthcare in 2010, and began her own consultancy – providing services in governance and strategic planning.
After earning her Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University, she began offering coaching services to professionals seeking growth in their lives and careers.
Dora specializes at creating a safe and comfortable coaching environment, while her honest, straightforward approach helps keep her clients accountable for the changes they wish to make in their lives.
Coaching helps people identify their dreams and passions, focus on what’s most important to them – personally and professionally – and then make it real.
As a coach, Dora provides a safe space and a trusted relationship through which to explore your innermost desires and fears, as well as the accountability mechanisms to ensure you make real progress toward your goals.
Community involvement is also important to Dora. She has served on numerous boards and national committees, including Accreditation Canada, Enterprise Saint John, and the YMCA of Greater Saint John. She has also volunteered with the Canadian Executive Service Organization (CESO), the Business-Community Anti-Poverty Initiative (BCAPI) and Partners Assisting Local Schools (PALS).
